Color Me Butterfly

I was married to an abusive man.He used to choke me ,sit on me,cornered me , put a gun to my head when I was pregnant,told me that no one would want me with 4 kids.He had me so messed up I didn't know what to do.One day at my job my boss asked me why I was missing so much work and I broke down crying and told her what happened.She took me to a friend who had helped her.(My boss was a millionaire and she had been abused)It was a shelter they helped me get a restraining order.My sons were so sad all the time and when I got that restraining order I packed my sons and left Texas and never looked back.(9 yrs.ago)It makes me proud of me and how well my sons are doing.I thank GOD for the strength he gave me to leave and never look back!My Mother went through this too and she got out also but too late we saw the damage.But thank God she is ok now!
