I know I am in a controlling relationship but I have let it go so far that I don't know how to get out, every time I make a plan and save money to execute my planns I end up broke because I went from only paying utilities, food and my children needs, my car note and insurance to helping him with half the rent to now paying all and spend the rest of the month trying to recover his half. Its hard when you don't have enough resources and feel like you can't leave because you can't really afford to live in a decent evironment......don't know how to get out.

You are half way there. You have identified the fact that you need to leave. I'm not sure what state you reside in, but what you may want to do is contact your local Department of Social Service to see if they have someone who helps those that are in Domestic situations. Talk to family members to see if you can stay with them for awhile. Sometime we have to do what needs to be done for survival. Ask yourself the question are your children better off living in what you may not deem decent for a short period of time? Or are they better off living without you for the rest of their lives.
