Color Me Butterfly

my neice who is 17 years old and 5 months pregnant with her boyfriends baby beat her up on this pass sunday ans he came to her house at 2;30am and broke i the house and abuse her pretty good while another boy was watching him/they got away and the abuser is on the run and he told my neice to tell the police she mad a mistake and she pull a knife at him that why he did what he did to her but in connecticut the law it if you are abuse the state will charge the person instead of the person who is being abused.I fear for her life becuase she is in love with him and she don't want him to go to jail.i try to talk to her but is seem like no one can get her to understand that you dont let him get away with this.please help me help my neice.
